Our most current , "Residential," located in the beautiful Cliffs communities, showcases the quality and attention to detail inherent to our work. The scope of work involved a complete landscape redesign for a private residence in The Cliffs at Mountain Park. The client wanted to create a peaceful and inviting outdoor area that would help him enjoy his property more fully while enhancing curb appeal. A thorough site analysis allowed our team to identify the opportunity areas for improvement and determine possible constraints like uneven terrain and established tree shade. To create a balanced design, a variety of native plants that thrive in specific micro-climates and have relatively low maintenance needs were installed. Each plant selection was made based on characteristics, attributes, and seasonal color such as vibrant perennial blooming flowers, seasonal ornamental grasses with coloring and textures, and evergreen placement to provide structure and continuity over time. We also created a natural stone pathway of granite from a local quarry which connects the house to a newly designed patio area for entertaining. One constraint we identified involved water drainage during heavy rains, which are common in the area. The consequence of the drainage was a harsh reality that likely would have deteriorated the health of the landscape over time. A complete drainage plan using French drains and rain gardens that would effectively manage the drainage issues was designed, and ultimately implemented into the landscape. The outcome is a remarkable outdoor realm that integrates with the natural landscape in which the home is situated; inclusive of a peaceful water feature to entice wildlife and promote a soothing sound. The client was most pleased with our professionalism, creativity, and commitment to high quality work.
