The Silver Medal Winner APSP 2012 by Marquise Pools Situated within the beautiful terrain of The Woodlands, "The Silver Medal Winner APSP 2012," by Marquise Pools, displays an outstanding quality of craftsmanship and design. The award-winning design converted a dated backyard into a beautiful outdoor space blending both function and flair. The showcases a finely crafted swimming pool, surrounded by beautiful hardscaping of natural stone patios and local walkways, while using durable materials to reinforce a connection to the surrounding landscape. The pool space is enhanced by landscaping with various native plants that also promote sustainability. One major challenge of the was the sloped site, which required creative engineering to allow for proper drainage and stability. Marquise Pools installed tiered garden beds, containing retaining walls completed with superior materials all while providing a beautiful aesthetic connected to the surrounding landscape. The final product is beautiful retreat, embellished with environmentally friendly light, a custom fire pit, or a water feature are just some of the highlights that invoke peace and leisure. The clients loved the finished product, they had a space that not only characterizes their style but also complements the outdoor living environment.
