Located in the charming community of Chagrin Falls, this celler offers both luxury and great functionality; a great getaway for the wine connoisseur. This began with multiple consultations in which we listened to our client's vision, desires, and specific storage needs. We carefully laid out a design plan that takes advantage of the space, incorporates interest with natural elements and lighting, and provides a welcoming, interactive experience. An increased difficulty during the process was the challenge of designing effectively in a basement; space and lighting were prime considerations. The objective was to create an atmosphere that felt sophisticated and warm, therefore we incorporated rich mahogany wood to create custom wine racks. The wood really adds warmth in contrast to the stone walls. The client's wine cellar also required a climate-controlled space to ensure the quality of the wine, and we were able to provide a modern cooling system design that provides a cool, controlled space that fits the averall aesthetic of the room. LED lighting beautifully enhances bottles, assuring visibility and efficiency. Another pivotal point of the entire was the flooring. We needed durable floors that could withstand moisture, so we selected long-lasting, moisture-resistant tiles that were styled and finished to resemble natural stone to enhance the overall rustic feel of the cellar. Our landscape team also provided our clients a small tasting area, with a granite bar-top and seating so they can enjoy their collection in a stylish way. Throughout the entire , our team used skillful craftsmanship, taking care with every detail, which allows us to navigate any challenges that come form limited space and added structural concerns effortlessly. The resulting product was a stunning wine cellar that positively exceeded our client’s expectations, while being easy to blend into the design of the home. Our clients were thrilled with their new oasis and expressed how happy they were to have a true space they could use to store their wine, and have another focal point for interaction with guests.
