Backyard Drainage Landscaping by L & D Landscaping Located within Madison, L & D Landscaping has successfully completed a massive dubbed 'Backyard Drainage Landscaping', combining function with beauty to an outdoor space of a home. We faced the challenge of tackling the backyard which meant poor drainage resulting in wet spots and areas prone to erosion so our amazing team got to work! An extensive drainage system utilizing French drains and dry wells, to drain away excess water, was put in place to provide a permanent solution. A perforated piping and gravel system was installed using high-quality materials to create a highly efficient, invisible drainage network to be tied into the existing landscape. We also regraded parts of the yard to help water flow naturally while keeping the earth looking as natural as possible. We turned that area into put native drought resistant plants and decorative rocks, turning an eye sore into a thing of beauty that enhances the architecture of the home. Despite rocky soil, vegetation that needed to be preserved, and other obstacles, we had prepared for success. The end result was an attractive, vibrant back yard that not only reduced run-off but also became a private outdoor living space for the homeowner. They were very pleased with the impact, complimenting our professionalism and eye for detail.
