About This Project

Matthews Beach Constructed by Vertumni Fine Landscaping, the Matthews Beach is a fabulous renovation that demonstrates our dedication to quality and purpose in landscaping. Tucked on the peaceful shoreline of Seattle, this colorful outdoor space is meant to blend with the natural landscape. Our team was challenged to work within a sloped and uneven surface. To deliver the aesthetics and stability of the landscape, we were able to use high-quality stone found from sources nearby for terracing, creating multi-level landscape that could preserve the view while also providing functional outdoor space for families to enjoy and relax. The design features diverse native plantings, including wildflowers and ferns, that helped to integrate with the local ecosystem while maintaining year-round color and texture. To complement the natural features of the landscape, we also built paths out of reclaimed wood and flagstone and created a space around the fire pit at the very end of the garden, so families could gather and take advantage of the serene coastline. Along with the beautiful gardens and hardscapes, we installed an irrigation system that has the benefit of easy maintenance while promoting conservation efforts. In the end, this is a beautiful landscape developed to compliment Matthews Beach and keep the clients happy in their new outdoor area for family gatherings. We can see that this demonstrates Vertumni Fine Landscaping's commitment to craft, consideration, and working to our client's desires through challenges and to a beautiful end result.
