About This Project

Fort Collins Green Living Wall City Plantscaping, LLC is proud to introduce the 'Fort Collins Green Living Wall', a significant landscaping that demonstrates our ability to design, and use, innovative green solutions. Located in the heart of Fort Collins, this living wall contains a beautiful combination of over 200 plant material types that we selected for their unique aesthetic appeal, adaptive natures, and ecological benefits. We used a durable modular plant system, high-quality materials, a strong irrigation system designed to promote optimal growth while conserving water, with no visible tubing or lines, to create this living wall. The vertical plant system consists of varied textures and colors, creating an attractive focal landscape element, incorporating a living wall into an urban landscape. One of the biggest obstacles was the installation and plant system used on the sloped area. We were able to include a reasonable amount of planning and engineering into the installation and plant system, and we determined a way to add drainage and new soil that could support the living wall while assisting with erosion to support a variety of plants all located within the urban landscape. The final product is a stunning composition of colorful greens and perennial color that adds value to the neighborhood while promoting biodiversity and improving air quality. The client was extremely happy with the product, and very pleased to have the opportunity to create such a beautiful oasis in the middle of the hectic urban area.
