AuldBrass by Crystal Pools LLC In the middle of West Columbia, sits the landscaping for AuldBrass, which is just one more testament to the craftsmanship that Crystal Pools LLC is known in South Carolina for between Arcadia Lakes and Charleston. This was a full property renovation of an extensive residential space to create a beautiful and functional outdoor sanctuary. The other outstanding elements of the AuldBrass include a wonderful water feature, around pure, naked boulders of rock and filled with natural stone from great distances across the country, combined with many other types of bushes that appeal to local wildlife. With the incorporation of locally sourced materials such as flagstone and reclaimed wood, the team cleverly orchestrated serpentine pathways in a way that lead patrons through the whimsical merriment. Pathways are also strategically placed to showcase the various plantings, which feature a variety of flowering shrubs and ornamental grasses for four-season interest. The existing topography of the property itself was a considerable challenge that revisiting throughout the . Solution: Our talented landscape architects designed a linear series of terraced garden beds made with retaining walls using a sustainable, durable material. This helped with drainage and also created levels within the landscape that are visually appealing. In the end, the layout provides a seamless flow of space bringing together an outdoor environment that encapsulates the serenity and aesthetic capabilities of a peaceful backyard setting, just how the client envisioned. A combination of design, quality materials, and execution has boosted the curb appeal throughout the property while giving the client a tranquil area to unwind and entertain.
