About This Project

Urban Settings by Crystal Pools LLC Placed in the inner cities of many of South Carolina's urban communities, 'Urban Settings' incorporated ambitious landscaping by Crystal Pools LLC, and highlighted us converting outdoor living into a tropical retreat. Aiming to design a spaces that seamlessly intertwined nature and community, the that serves all of Arcadia Lakes, Blythewood, Cayce, Columbia, Elgin, Forest Acres, West Columbia, Lexington, Chapin, Aiken, and Charleston. It used various elements to improve appear and functioning. By using inherently sustainable native plant material, such as colorful flowering shrubs and hardy perennial grasses, we ensured the new landscape will flourish in our local environmental conditions. Made of local, porous pavers that permit drainage and give an attractive and solid surface. We also added a relaxing water feature with small waterfall that was visually striking and attracted local fauna, serving the greater urban ecology. The limited planting area we had to work with as well as wanting to maintain a sense of privacy without blocking the view was one of the main challenges we faced. It is a vertical miniature garden to create space capable of tiered planting beds along with appropriate trellises with climbing vines. Not only did it make for a thick, green screen, but it also produced a three-dimensional landscape. The final result was stunning. The client was extremely happy with the seamless integration of hardscaping & soft landscaping that created the ultimate outdoor space for leisure & entertaining. The Urban Settings showcases Crystal Pools LLC commitment to quality, creativity and attention to detail that not only impresses the customer but the surrounding community as well.
