Stone Steps | Georgia Horticulture Located in Cobb and Cherokee Counties, the Stone Steps is an excellent example from Georgia Horticulture of form meets function in a natural setting. We did this beautiful stone cash to add some visual appeal to the property, but also to be a solid and secure access point for our clients. Natural stone materials that were selected for their durability and everlasting beauty were used on the . The design process went through many iterations culminating into a series of steps that weave their way through the natural landscape and integrate beautifully with its existing vegetation. The rocks were individually selected for their visual compatibility, while still respecting the natural landscape. The biggest challenge was the slope, which needed to be leveled perfectly and methods developed to repair and prevent erosion and ensure other water pooling. The crew used sand and gravel to provide a base for stability while practicing creative methods to accomplish the look they were trying to achieve. This metamorphosis resulted into a beautiful artistry of stone stairs offering access, as well as their functional value for the outdoor loads. And the end result of this harmony between nature and craftsmanship brought enormous satisfaction to our customers. They now have access to their garden oasis where they can step out to lush green scenery and the sound of nature.
