Naturalized Landscape by Acer Landscape Services Acer Landscape Services is excited to present the 'Naturalized Landscape' , a remarkable renovation undertaken in the heart of Nashville, serving Belle Meade, Brentwood, Forest Hills, and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville. This took into account the topography and native flora to create an outdoor space that was beautiful, functional, and sustainable. The scope focused on installing native plants that were easily maintained and environmentally sustainable while thriving in our client's local climate. Our experienced team of designers and landscapers chose a variety of perennials, grasses, and bushes such as Black-eyed Susans, Coneflowers, and Switchgrass to add color and texture for the four seasons. One of our main challenges was the undulating terrain of the property, which we overcame by contouring the natural landscape to enhance existing drainage patterns. This enhancement increased the aesthetic, while also promoting nature's drainage capability to prevent wash-out. Enhancements to the also included locally-sourced stone pathways that enabled our client's guests to navigate through the greenery to enjoy the natural setting. This ‘Naturalized Landscape’ resulted in a peaceful and inviting space that captures the beauty of the natural ecosystem displayed in Tennessee. Our clients were thrilled with the final product and our ability to correlate the hardscaping and softscaping features seamlessly into their outdoor space. As a result, our clients were able to enjoy their outdoor space in new ways and further develop their relationship with nature. The ‘Naturalized Landscpe' proved that sustainably focused landscapes could be utilized in a personal, beautiful, and positive way.
