Yard & Stone WorkOrganic Landscapes NY Designed and executed by the Artscapes team led by the talented professionals at DeLuca Lawn Maintenance, a beautiful landscaping called 'Yard & Stone Work' was recently completed by Organic Landscapes NY in the scenic areas of Armonk, Bedford and surrounding municipalities. The design intent of this was to change the typical yard into a beautiful outdoor space incorporating nature and outdoor living. This needed a handpicked but ample variety of native plants characterized by bloom all through the seasons. For the hardscaping components, our experienced team used natural stone for a beautiful stone patio and a walking path crafted out of durable, locally-sourced stone for both functionality and appearance. Natural stone had been used for both aesthetics and long-term durability against elements. We also had to deal with one of our yard's most daunting challenges: its slope, which made leveling areas for planting and other uses a multi-step process of cutting, digging and replanting. We solved this with a few retaining walls made of the same gorgeous stone from the . In addition to giving the solid framework a sophistication to the look of the landscape, these walls act important. Another critical element of this was water management. In addition, we added a contemporary drainage system to avoid erosion and to support the design for the new plantings to grow and flourish. This careful planning meant that they were able to turn the area into a beautiful garden that flourishes, even in the rainiest of times. The end result was a stunning makeover that astonished the client and went beyond what they were willing to be satisfied with.
