Tubergen Residence by Hittle Landscaping Hittle Landscaping is excited to share the newly completed Tubergen Residence , which took place in the heart of Westfield. This was an entire landscaping makeover intended to enhance the property’s aesthetics and functionality, working with nature instead of in opposition to it. Initially, our team addressed the challenge posed by the sloped landscape, which resulted in necessary grading and drainage solutions to manage the flow of water on the property. A tiered garden design with natural stone retaining walls of locally-sourced limestone added to the stability of the landscape while also creating a beautiful backdrop for the plantings. A massive patio made of durable pavers that matched the exterior of the home is the focus of this . This patio provides an outdoor living space created for entertaining with a fire pit and custom seat walls for relaxation and social enjoyment. Finally, we thoughtfully chose an assortment of native plants that included ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs, and perennials for an abundance of year-round color and sustainable planting options. Savings could be realized in maintenance efforts with our sustainable practice of using resources that would also benefit the establishment of wildlife habits alongside blooms. With the finished product, we transformed the Tubergen Residence into a stunning place that satisfied the client’s wildest dreams. It was incredible to have the chance to witness two completely different worlds hardscape and softscape integrate into one space. Without a doubt, the clients are happy to have a picturesque view for family gatherings and an escape in their backyard.
