About This Project

The Poolside Bar & Kitchen for Pacific Outdoor Living Located in Los Angeles the Poolside Bar & Kitchen truly captures Pacific Outdoor Living's philosophy of creating outdoor spaces. This was for a targeted client in Beverly Hills, with the intention of developing a space to entertain family and guests, functionality with elegance. The focal point of this beautiful escape is the custom built outdoor kitchen. Featuring high end appliances including a state of the art grill, refrigerator, and marble counter space for food prep and serving. The surrounding stone paths are all hand built, using found flagstone in the area to ensure rustic charm and durability. To create the environment around the pool, lush vegetation was included, such as bougainvillea flowers and jasmine that create the smell of the tropics, while the palms were placed within the landscaping to address shade and privacy concerns. Safety was a factor, as well as visual impact in good taste, so multiple LED lighting was integrated throughout the entire area to enhance safety and function for entertaining after dark, as well as a functional visual impact on the landscape. One challenge we had was the more level terrain surrounding the pool and deck area, and while we used tiered landscaping to account for drainage, it also created an interest in the layout and flow of the complete area. The end result is a beautiful poolside space for our client to entertain their family and friends year round. The combination of craftsmanship and taste in using finish materials will provide the client with a beautiful outdoor living experience for many years.
