The 'Pool Side Fireplace' showcases the quality of our materials and innovative design and building practices for landscaping. At the center of this design is a stunning stone fireplace that is handcrafted with natural stone from the local area to create a seamless transition from the fire to the landscaped surroundings. We incorporated a durable, heat-resistant fire box to the fireplace. This made the fireplace safe, but also allowed our clients to enjoy the warmth over many evenings in the backyard watching the stars. The fireplace is surrounded by custom-built seating made of premium-grade hardwood to work in conjunction with the heat from the fireplace. One of the largest challenges was the differential in elevation from the pool to the proposed fireplace area. Our skilled build team engineered a stunning architectural tier pattern and fitted the fireplace in with a low-maintenance, durable, weather-resistant retaining wall to create a functional transitional space to an outdoor entertainment area. The plants selected to surround the fireplace were specifically selected for their low-maintenance and ability to bloom throughout the course of the seasons. We intermitted the plantings with native grasses, adding texture and color to an overall incredible setting. Innovative landscape lighting over the fireplace and walkways completed the for limited evening usage. The end result was a breathtaking outdoor-living space that amazed our client. The 'Pool Side Fireplace' became the gathering point for everything from family entertaining to preparing for film night, demonstrated a new style of exterior living beyond the currently trending ideas while taking in everything nature had to offer with elegant and functional design.
