Rustically Refined is an exquisite 15,300 square foot residence nestled in the serene landscape of North Bend, WA, where nature's beauty harmonizes with modern comfort. This home was meticulously designed to integrate seamlessly with its environment while ensuring that every amenity is at the residents' fingertips. The project, which marked the third collaboration with the discerning client, reflects a shared vision of creating a sanctuary that embodies both rustic charm and refined elegance. The design choices were purposefully curated to enhance the natural elements of the landscape. Reclaimed timbers were thoughtfully sourced to provide structural integrity while paying homage to the surrounding forests, showcasing a commitment to sustainability. These timbers not only add aesthetic appeal but also tell a story of history and craftsmanship. The home is illuminated by LED lighting, prioritizing energy efficiency without compromising on ambiance. The use of American Clay, an earth-based healthy wall finish, invites the outdoors in, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the living spaces. One of the standout features of Rustically Refined is its bathroom, which exemplifies the project's overarching design philosophy.
