About This Project

Manchester, Vermont - Hali Beckman, Ltd. The resulting Manchester, Vermont landscaping is an impressive renovation showcasing Hali Beckman, Ltd.'s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Our goal was to improve a large residential property by integrating charming; native plantings, beautiful hardscaping, and inviting outdoor living areas. This balance was driven by the client's vision for their dream garden. First, we began with a thorough analysis of the site to understand the challenges presented by the varied elevation and sun exposure of the different areas of the property. With respect to analysis, drought-tolerant plants were chosen, which included native wildflowers and ornamental grasses, to ensure sustainability and mimic and enhance the natural character of the landscape. Complementing the lush plants, we also chose permeable pavers for the driveway and pathways to improve drainage and lessen environmental damage. A centerpiece of this was the multi-tiered patio, which was crafted with locally sourced bluestone. This important space provided a perfect area for entertaining and appreciating the amazing view of the Green Mountains. We sectioned space and performed light grading of steep slopes and managed rocky soil to transform unusable spaces, while maintaining the integrity of the landscape. The end result is a beautifully landscaped site that embraces peace and elegance, while bringing joy to the client, and blending perfectly with the natural environment. By carefully designing and executing all parts of the landscape, we demonstrated Hali Beckman, Ltd.'s vision for beauty, sustainability, and functionality as it pertains to landscaping in New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
