Stone Stairs by The Landscape Group Inc. The Landscape Group Inc. is excited to present the 'Stone Stairs' a remarkable enhancement that provides both utility and beauty to a residential property located in one of the neighborhoods in Alpharetta, GA. Our job was to build a strong set of stone stairs that would blend seamlessly with the landscape while offering a safe and appealing transition from space to space at the same property. Using natural stone sourced locally, we selected stone products that would be a blend of the current architecture as well as durable enough to withstand a myriad of Georgia's weather. The design had a mixture of flat and textured stone that allowed the product to be visually attractive and guide the visitor through the garden. The steep grade of the property posed one of the biggest challenges. All aspects of the stairs needed to be planned and engineered so that the users could transition from one area to another safely. To ensure ease of use of these stairs, our skilled crews graded the slope of the property as effectively as possible and, in order to prevent erosion and stabilize the slopes of the soils, we installed a functional retaining wall supported by natural stone. The final product was breathtakingan eye-catching staircase that served a functional purpose. The newly installed stone stairs dazzled as they were adorned with lush greenery, and the effect of ambient light fixtures at night that highlighted them further enhanced the beauty of the . The final product delighted the client's expectations and provided a peaceful element to their outdoor space.
