The Hillsboro Village area project reflects an exquisite blend of historic charm and modern artistry, tailored for discerning homeowners purchasing a historical house in Nashville, TN. This renovation encompassed a significant expansion, featuring the addition of a spacious living room, an extended kitchen that seamlessly integrates with the overall aesthetic, and a luxurious second-story master bedroom. Each element of design was meticulously curated to showcase the artistic flair of the homeowners, resulting in a unique and personalized living space. In crafting this home, we employed a thoughtful palette that included three distinct colors and four different door styles, contributing to the house's Cape Cod-inspired dec. The kitchen serves as the heart of this renovation, where we selected the striking Kraftmaid's Piermont cherry door with a vintage willow finish. This choice not only enhances functionality but also adds a touch of elegance and warmth to the space. The layout features a charming hutch positioned between the kitchen and living room, effectively bridging the two areas and enhancing the open-concept feel. To further enrich the kitchen's aesthetic, we installed a matching beadboard backsplash and a valance toe kick, which together create a sophisticated furniture-like appearance. An open plate rack was also included, providing a delightful display for the homeowner’s cherished Fiesta ware, making it both a practical and decorative feature. The craftsmanship throughout this project highlights attention to detail, ensuring that every design choice complements the overall vision of the home. The outcome of this project is a harmonious living environment that marries traditional design elements with modern conveniences, reflecting the homeowners' artistic sensibilities.
