Landscape Renovations, Inc. is proud to share the Estate Landscape , a stunning renovation that changed outdoor living for a very particular client living in beautiful Saint Paul. This extensive landscape was designed to enhance the functional and aesthetic elements of the property by combining nature with modern lifestyle. This included a complex design structure that incorporated a large patio with high-quality, local blue stone paving; a durable and beautiful surface for gathering friends and family outdoors. To enhance the space further, we planted perennial flower beds of native plants, which thrive in the Minnesota climate and attract pollinators alike. One of the larger challenges encountered in this was managing the drainage and soil erosion on grade. This terrain gave as opportunity to develop a multi-tiered planting bed that would help control the water but also serve as a beautiful feature layered vertically with plantings, decorative boulders, and a path of river rock. The river rock trails allowed for a natural movement throughout the property and highlighted the aesthetic of lush plantings with manicured gardens. A custom water feature was constructed, gently cascading into a koi pond surrounded by vegetation, for enjoyment year-round. This little feature creates a resting spot or a nook to hangout or escape with a few family or friends while enjoying the property. Outdoor accent lighting was also set to enhance the landscape aesthetic after dark and, become part of the experience in the evening.
