Subsequently, we selected appropriate materials such as river rock, natural stone pavers, and an appropriate selection of native plant variety to withstand Idaho's climate. Within the , a stunning focal point of the was custom build water feature that brings calming aesthetics to the landscape while peacefully defining a personal retreat from the family. The also included a multi-level patio feature made of locally harvested flagstone as a gathering space for friends and family for an outdoor dinner. Additionally, this landscape used a state-of-the-art irrigation system that distributed water appropriately in a sustainable manner, to promote a rich horizontal landscape and keep it lush and vibrant. As we proceeded with the , we faced challenges due to the previous and existing conditions, such as the existing vegetation that we needed to remove and transplant carefully and the unevenness of the lot. We worked collaboratively with the homeowners and used generous and conscientious labor from our team to overcome every challenge and follow their vision for the final outcome.
