### East Dallas Property for Southern Botanical, Inc. Southern Botanical, Inc. is pleased to disclose the process of the transforming landscape at the East Dallas Property, where design and workmanship merge. The work includes a thoughtful arrangement of native Texas landscaping and contemporary hardscapes that create a welcoming outdoor space that reflects the client’s dream. To respect the natural attributes of the property, our design team selected drought-tolerant plants, including native ornamental grasses and perennial color, to create interest and vibrancy throughout the seasons while supporting sustainable use of water. We chose top of the line sourcing materials such as natural stone locally sourced for the walkways and patios and, importantly, integrated those into the landscape. One of the significant site conditions we faced was the sloping grade, which required creative grading to achieve a comfortable configuration. Our skilled landscape architects worked seamlessly with the installation teams to manage water drainage and surface erosion in support of active plant roots. Ultimately, the entire landscape evolved into an outdoor room that features a custom fire pit surrounded by natural seating, a tranquil water element to promote relaxation, and a colorful garden that springs to life in every season. The client expressed great happiness with the outcome, especially the seamless integration of indoor to outdoor spaces. The final touches significantly improved the fabric of the property to balance the aesthetics with a family gathering space for evenings quality time through day into night.
