A beautiful stone patio which was perfect for entertaining and relaxing. We chose fragrant bluestone from a farmer in the Adelaide Hills, providing a smooth transition with this durable yet timeless stone between the home and garden. In addition, a beautiful retaining wall built out of natural granite adds detail and allows for proper support for the hill behind the patio. One of the major obstacles we faced was the character of the land on which we were working. We carefully choreographed the grade, allowing for proper drainage with no (or minimal) water runoff, all while preserving the aesthetic visual of the space. We opted for built-in seating around a fire pit (custom-cut stone) for a hint of outdoor ambiance that beckons friends and family to gather. Our client was thrilled with the end result, providing them with a functional outdoor space and letting them enjoy this area of their property. This beautifully done Hardscaping elegantly displayed the artistry and craftsmanship that Longo's Landscaping & Masonry is known for, with its lavish plantings, propiciously placed intricate design components and expertly laid masonry. Redesigning this not only improved aesthetic appeal coming along the property, but also created a scenery for family memories for years to come. Every aspect of the 'Masonry' reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and is a shining beacon of our work in Long Island and a proud entry in our portfolio.
