Asiatic Lilies

Profile: Asiatic Lilies by YouBuyWePlant, LLC YouBuyWePlant, LLC proudly presents, what we called, the "Asiatic Lilies" , an impressive transformation that added an explosive amount of color and life to a private residence in the center of our service area, Ardmore, Bala Cynwyd and greater than. Our goal was to create a habitat that was visually stunning with the presence of Asiatic lilies while maintaining an interest throughout the year. We began the with a thorough site assessment, which helped us recognize the specific soil condition of the site, and how much sunlight and shade the lovingly maintained garden receives. We decided on a selection of Asiatic lilies with bold colors, and fragrances, that would be the stars of the garden. We decided to plant a mix of ornamental grasses, accompanied by perennial plants to provide a lush environment backdrop for the lilies. One of the primary challenges was the site which had areas that sloped and could pose challenges for drainage and plant growth. Our professional team expertly leveled the area and installed a custom drainage system that will both ensure the health of the plants and eliminate pools of water from forming as a result of inadequate drainage. We chose organic soil amendments, also high quality, which ensures healthy growth and will support the initial planting of new Asiatic lilies and allow the plants to thrive. In addition to selecting sustainable flora, we created the layout of the design in a way that facilitated flow through the space. Access paths, created with natural stone, run through the garden and enable the visitor to easily navigate the garden, experience the different perspectives, and interact with the other site attributes and features. We also included boulders and mulch beds to provide depth and texture in the design. The end product resulted in a gorgeous garden teeming with life and color which created delight in the client as well as provided an altered landscape to rejuvenate this site. The Asiatic lilies stand tall and proud, stationed next to a choreography of blooms from the plant types and create a welcoming space for family and friends to enjoy together or sit quietly.
