This transformation of a generic backyard to outdoor setting is the fusion of natural and modern elements to create an inviting outdoor retreat. The deck is a beautiful multiple level TREX high-end, sustainably sourced, hardwood deck that enhances aesthetic beauty and durability. The adjoining native landscape plantings provide the design with natural color and texture and further promote local biodiversity. It was important to incorporate a dynamic landscape that would provide textural and seasonal color variation. With that in mind, ornamental grasses, hardy perennials, and well-placed shrubbery were used. One of the challenges for this site is the former uneven terrain. Royal Creations' experts graded the yard area for proper drainage and a level foundation. The quality of the base as well as properly planned defined areas of relaxation, dining, and entertainment maximizes usability of the space. A fire pit surrounded by natural stone seating provides a cozy spot for family and entertaining and offers an ideal gathering place on cooler evenings. Multiple pathways which utilize permeable pavers connect the garden area and also allow for water drainage which enhances sustainability. The final product of this landscape metamorphosis shows how beauty and function can transform the client's space into an oasis and a perfect space for family, peace, and entertaining.
