Stone Sanctuary by Royal Creations Architectural Landscaping Located in Independence, the 'Stone Sanctuary' is evidence of Royal Creations Architectural Landscaping's deep-rooted values of quality and innovation in outdoor design. This inspiring landscape began with the idea of creating a tranquil haven that blends with the natural landscape while being beautiful and functional. The most unique element is a beautifully designed stone path that traverses the lush greenery, taking visitors on a journey. We chose locally-sourced granite stones for path construction due to its durability and beauty, so the path can age in patina like any proper stone surface. Each stone is perfectly fitted steeping away from the main dwelling and guiding visitors into the garden, and soft landscape lighting highlights the natural beauty of granite during twilight. In addition to the stone path, Stone Sanctuary also showcases a wide and visually appealing selection of native plant species. Our landscape architects had to be creative with tiered planting beds due to the slope on the property. The tiered planting beds showcase a wide display of colorful blooms throughout the seasons, while also supporting the local ecology. Zoned as the centerpiece is a peaceful water element that produces calming sounds and tranquility. Obstacles arose when sourcing and installing a custom-built pond, planted by nature and bordered with stone that - when designed correctly - is the ultimate destination for rest and meditation. The final result is a magnificent landscape that combines art and ecology, leaving our client speechless. The Stone Sanctuary is more than a garden; it is a tranquil escape that enhances property value while providing a place for generations to unwind.
