Daniels Landscape Inc. has recently completed a remarkable landscaping called 'Water Features,' designed to promote tranquility and beauty in our client's outdoor spaces through the gorgeous areas of Bonsall, Cardiff By The Sea, Carlsbad, Encinitas, and beyond. The features included beautifully designed water features, such as koi ponds, waterfalls, and fountains that all focused on creating relaxing and beautiful spots and all performed well with the enhancements for landscape. Every improvement was designed to marry well into the existing landscape by transitioning to locally sourced materials that were used to construct natural stone ponds, long-lasting liners, and the best eco-friendly pumps in the industry. One of the most significant issues we faced as the general contractor, raised during the pre-construction meeting with the architectural landscape engineer, was how to best manage the varying topography of the site to allow the water to flow the existing contours and to accommodate a continuously harmonious flow. Our trained and skilled team did so by using ideas like tiered systems to improve functionality with placemaking ideas that offered a whole new landscape design with rich, vibrant areas, that allowed for ecological expansion as well. The end result was a gorgeous oasis for which our clients were delighted. The goals were accomplished, and the technical specifications fulfilled the requirements without compromising the sense of peace and serenity that they owners planned to implement. The sounds of the waterfall with the vista loads of different color hues and the changes of color crease flora as the seasons change provided them with just the right amount of sensory.
