Pool Deck: Blackhawk We are Home & Garden Construction Group, the 'Pool Deck: Blackhawk' is a wonderful conversion story living in the Bay Area, creating a new life style for our clients. In the beautiful area of Blackhawk, this not only had to be a fully operational pool deck, but also an artful retreat, complementing the landscape features. We had an unlevel site that required a lot of grading to generate a flat surface. We used a mix of high-end, colour enhancing, slip resistant porcelain tiles where serviceability is priority providing natural stone coping that flows into and with the existing features of the pool. Built in LED lighting helps with the ambiance, the soft light helps to light the area up around the embedded granite when entertaining in the evenings. The landscape had colourful and drought-resistant plants positioned around the deck that complemented the smoothness of the materials wildly. Our experienced craftsmen completed a custom built pergola to add shade, comfort, and beauty, serving as the centerpiece for a place to relax. We carefully worked through challenges along the way, drainage issues, zoning regulations, and we created a safe, compliant, attractive and breathtaking solution. Not only did the final product meet our client’s goals, but it transformed their outdoor space into an oasis ideal for entertaining family and friends.
