One of our signature s, Playing with the Elements, embodies excellence and creativity across the vibrant neighborhoods of Aldine, Conroe, Cypress, Houston, and beyond. We started with a consultation to fully understand our clients needs and vision. In addition to this, the site ownership raised its own set of challenges with the terrain being uneven, the site not having a cohesive design element and no actual brief to work off. Yet our specialized team faced these challenges head on, and with unique skills, delivered a beautiful landscape with all the elements earth, water, fire and air working in unison. We thoughtfully selected a diverse variety of native plants, which made for a beautiful and drought tolerant landscape while providing habitat for native species. We implemented natural stone walking paths that wind through the garden, allowing a real connection with the soil while creating pathways through the variety of plantings. This also involved the use of water and included the construction of a tranquil pond, which acts as an eye catcher and a home for wildlife. The sound of the gentle water flowing is soothing as well as stones scatter across to make the pond more appealing to the eye. In order to bring in some warmth and coziness, we planned a rustic fire pit nook surrounded with greenery, where groups could sit and enjoy starry evenings. This space not only promotes enjoying time outside, but it also intensifies your fire feature if present, creating a focal point for family and friends. During the , we used sustainable materials reclaimed wood and permeable pavers that made the design more sustainable and last longer. We imbued every element with plenty of attention to detail and craftsmanship, from careful landscaping lighting that bring the garden to life at night, to a selection of plants that work with the local climate. The end result of "Playing with the Elements" made our clients happy and they now have a multi-dimensional element to their home that is an intimate reflection of who they are.
