This was a full redesign of a residential backyard that utilized a natural landscaping design aesthetic. The customers wanted to create an inviting outdoor space usable as an extension of their home for family gatherings with the option of entertaining guests. We started by analyzing the site, paying particular attention to the site topography and local climate. Our staff was able to incorporate an assortment of native plants and ornamental shrubs to provide a sustainable landscape suited to the conditions of the area. Local stone was set in the hardscape which contributed to the beauty of the redesign and also provided a stable foundation that remained in the property surroundings. One of the biggest challenges of the redesign was the landscape's sloping tier, requiring creative grading for usable space for seating and paths. Our professional landscapers were able to use their training to recontour the landscape for proper drainage and to help mitigate the erosion issues. This was the groundwork to the breathtaking multi-level patio finished with the paver of the complex and included a fire pit for relaxing nights on the patio or in the property. We then helped further improve the outdoor experience for the client's guests with a custom water feature to attract attention. The sound of water flowing attracts these guests and contributes to the experience of being in nature. We also installed a soft landscape lighting to highlight certain features and provide safety while guests gather in the evening. The final product is a complete change. The clients were thrilled with the final result of the design. A beautiful mixture of greenery and hardscape that enhanced the property appearance and presented to be the perfect relaxing escape option and environment to entertain family and friends.
