Siesta Key Modern II | BORDEN Landscape Design Set in one of the bathed-in-sunshine locations of Siesta Key, the 'Siesta Key Modern II' is representative of the expansive outdoor room that BORDEN Landscape Design continually crafts for exceptional properties around the world. A seamless mixture of modern and beachy landscape construction ideal for our clients taste! Bougainvillea, sea oats and other impressive native plants for southern climates are on display in this fortified design. We used green materials for durability and minimal maintenance work such as permeable pavers and reclaimed wood for added aesthetics and sustainability. This had the considerable challenge of the surrounding sandy soil and high level of the flood risk of the site. The team we created a custom drainage system to ensure that the landscape was protected, which also improved the performance of the entire yard. The result: A stunning garden that thrives despite Siesta Key's inconsistent weather. This breath-taking outdoor living space is the cornerstone of the 'Siesta Key Modern II' , featuring a sleek, bespoke pool surrounded by lush foliage with boulders peppered throughout the design to provide texture and character. Pair a fire pit area with comfortable seating and you have a place for family and friends to gather during any season encouraging you to live outdoors year-round.
