Oct 2023 Here at Mark's Lawn Service, Inc., we finished installing beautiful landscape design for a private home set in the middle of Minneapolis. It has been a mini-in which was a pure hard work of planning and execution with meticulous attention to quality and precision. They wanted a beautiful yet functional outdoor sanctuary. We started with an in depth analysis of the site to see what was currently there, along with the sun, soil, and drainage condition. Working closely with the clients, we created a tailor-made design that included their interests in the types of native plants, hardscaping elements, and types of outdoor living spaces. The new stone pathway, fashioned from local flagstone, welcomed visitors to explore a verdant plot bursting with colorful blooms and ornamental grasses that help define the garden settings of the design. Incorporating drought-friendly plants built the sustainability element without sacrificing the ability for it to be visually interesting all year round. One of the design's focal points was a custom-built wooden pergola, offering some shade and a comfortable spot for outdoor entertaining. Uneven land ground of property area was one of the challenges we fought off. The land was expertly terraced into flower beds, which not only solved the drainage issues but also lent a dimension to the landscape. Adding a small water feature that provided a gentle sound of splashing water, and draw wildlife, and provide extra effect. The end product definitely met our clients’ final expectations by creating a picturesque escape directly within their yard reflecting their lifestyle. The sultry compounding of hardscaping and softscaping aspects yields a structural design that is connected yet relaxing and pleasurable to spend time in.
