Dog Friendly Landscape by Eagleson Landscape Co. Eagleson Landscape Co. is proud to announce the dog friendly landscape ; a new outdoor experience that contains the ultimate blend of functional space and aesthetics for pets and their owners. Serving the communities of Carmel, Noblesville, Sheridan, Westfield, Whitestown, Zionsville, Indianapolis, and Fishers, we started this with a lofty goal: to provide a safe and entertaining area for our client's pets. The design features solid, pet friendly materials like permeable pavers for improved drainage and a surface firm enough to facilitate play. The plants used are native to the environment and, more importantly, non-toxic to dogs. The layout contained expansive grassy areas for running and playing, as well as designated digging areas filled with soft sand to fill a pup's natural instinct to dig. Regarding the site's conditions; we had to contend with an existing slope. Therefore, we modified the slope to create a multi-level space that accommodated terraced gardens and pathways. The terraced gardens not only provide visual interest while creating a separation for certain activities, but they also helped create an area for the pets while giving the owners a bit of seating. The included a dog run, which interface very well into the overall design of the landscape, while keeping the dog in a secure location, the dog run maintained the landscape beauty. The finished dog friendly landscape met our client's desires as they have a very active come lifestyle with their pets. When Eagleson Landscape Co. creates quality designs that are so functional, there is no reason not to include the whole family, furry ones included.
