Tropical Oasis in Desert

px OBJECT: DESERT OASIS Introducing the apt titled 'Tropical Oasis in Desert' by XL Landscape Development that offers a jaw-dropping makeover greened up with foliage and rite colours to the barren grounds of Las Vegas. As we work with clients through greater Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, North Las Vegas, Summerlin and Lake Las Vegas, our team was excited when the opportunity to design the ultimate retreat requesting the challenge of complementing the desert landscape. One of the best responses to the harsh desert climate was the incorporation of tropical plants, such as palms, hibiscus, and bird of paradise, or the use of drought-resistant varieties within the range of the palm genera featured in this . We also designed a unique water feature that cascades beautifully to allow us to enjoy the view and sound of water which works well with our tropical setting. Natural stone walkways, made from local granite, both durable and earthy in tone to harmonize with the landscape. The major challenge we had to overcome was to plan for irrigation in a way that saves water. We installed smart irrigation to keep plants watering but also being water wise. Even plant growth was a challenge, so we incorporated organic compost and mulch to address soil quality issues (nutrient retention). The end result is a stunning oasis that makes the clients happy and feel welcomed to relax in. An alluring combination of lush plants, peaceful water elements, and cozy seating areas all create an oasis of relief from the desert sun. This in located in a privately gated community in Southern California is one of the most challenging climate for plant life but yet the 'Tropical Oasis in Desert' is a perfect amalgamation of art and infrastructure by XL Landscape Development, which represent not only the Fine pieces of quality Craftsmanship but also the innovative interior angles of Architecture giving us an opportunity to breathe in a beautiful and functional environment.
