From Cardiff By The Sea, Del Mar, Encinitas, all the way to north San Diego our goal was to design a tropical style landscape and outdoor living environment that embodies the laid back spirit of tropical southern California. Our team worked alongside the client from day one to bring this vision of an oasis-like escape to life. The design included many species of local tropical plants like hibiscus, palms, and plumeria that could grow in the area. We used a mixture of plantings that included textured foliage and flower color to ensure an attractive, layered landscape at all times of the year. The biggest challenge we encountered was the pre existing site conditions which has huge land difference and we had to grade the soil and adjust a consistent area of land. Our talented team tackled each one of these challenges by utilizing high-quality materials such as natural stone pavers for pathways, and durable decorative gravel that perfectly match your tropical look. A peaceful water feature a beautiful water fountain, surrounded with lush greenery is an attractive element and calming presence, bringing the sound of flowing water to the landscape. We added a large, sustainably harvester timber patio area for entertainment use and also relaxation. We were happy to able to treat our clients who now have a tropical oasis, both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Specializing in quality craftsmanship, Barrels & Branches has turned their backyard into a postcard-perfect setting and a popular gathering space for family and friends. This is testament to our dedication to high quality landscaping that extends lifestyles throughout Carlsbad and other coastal communities.
