This significant renovation solved the challenge of creating an area that is both practical but also beautiful for family and friends to come together. This particular included quality natural stone paver patio which offers elegance and durability. The new soft landscape, surrounded by a range of native plants and many perennials (appealing to all the senses), not only looked great, but also encouraged sustainability by using less water and providing a habitat - and food - for local wildlife. A big concern while going through this renovation was the undulating land which called for a lot of leveling and drainage items to assist in the natural movement of water as well as prevent erosion. My energetic crew sailed through these challenges and installed a French drain system that complimented the landscape, never failing to do its job. We built a fire pit out of reclaimed materials to create an inviting center that enables outdoor get-togethers throughout the year. Additionally, the ambient lighting that was put in place amplified the beauty of the space and gave the clients the opportunity to enjoy their backyard both day or night. The finished result of the Avenues Backyard Renovation provided a dream to the client and without a doubt, increased the value of the property. Overall this hardscape softscape is a beautiful intrusion to the surrounding area where the home owners can really enjoy their outdoor space!
