Meditation Courtyard and Spa Mirror Lake Designs work: the 'Meditation Courtyard and Spa' illustrates the simple elegance of turning an ordinary backyard into an oasis of peace. Located in the heart of The Woodlands, this one-stop-shop spa was designed to be a destination for relaxation and mindful moments for residents of Aldine, Conroe, Cypress, Houston, and beyond. In this design you have a perfect integration of natural elements, such as the water that calms and flows gently in the fountain, harmonizing with river stones, creating this sound environment that enchants. To provide pop of colors in a sustainable way around the spa had drought resistand native plants, mainly low maintenance ornamental grasses and flowering perennials in rich colours, all year around. The courtyard includes beautiful flagstone pathways leading visitors from one end of the courtyard to the other with comfortable natural teak benches to sit on. Permeable pavers not only improve appearance but also resolve drainage issues such as going into the earth, being durable and lasting and requiring little to no maintenance either. Another major issue during this was the diagnosing of the land, it was unbalanced and grading and landscaping were needed for the space to be even without messing up with the rain soon after in a way that it wont flow out naturally. Mirror Lake Designs, who have the full services concept down to a science, was able to work through this design challenge and still make the courtyard both functional and beautiful. The end product is a stunning Meditation Courtyard and Spa, which evokes tranquility and contemplation, and clients have been thrilled with the effortless blend of nature and design. A beautifully curated retreat that has become a beloved hideaway for the homeowners, and a true testament to the quality work and attention to client satisfaction provided by Mirror Lake Designs.
