Native in the National Park || HI DEF Landscapes & Design Since then, it has only grown in popularity to the point where it was designed into s like this modern cabin design by HI DEF Landscapes & Design fit snugly into Colorado's picturesque landscape with a contemporary vibe. For this , which serves the colorful communities of Acres Green, Aurora, Castle Rock, and beyond, the vision was to build a warm and welcoming outdoor area that could coexist with rustic but modern cabin design. The highlight of the landscaping is carefully master planned patio built from local flagstone, attractive and long lasting, the perfect complement to the cabin design. Anchoring the patio are a mix of native plants and ornamental grasses, selected for both their aesthetic appeal and durability, contributing to the sustainability of this outdoor room. The sloping nature of the land was one of the main challenges. HI DEF Landscapes & Design addressed this by creating a tiered planting system, providing good drainage and an element of interest. Reclaimed timber were used to create retaining walls that adds rustic aesthetic but strengthening shape to the nature. We incorporated well-placed outdoor lighting that accentuates the garden's best features at night, so the space can become a magical getaway in the evening. A fire pit area, rimmed in natural boulders, provides a nighttime gathering place for family and friends, and night-skyscapes. Our clients are thrilled with the end result, which provides them with a beautiful outdoor oasis embodying a modern, elegant slate stone slab mixed with the tranquil and picturesque beauty of Colorado surrounding.
