EAGLE ROCK BOHEMIAN BUNGALOW This vibrant Eagle Rock called the Bohemian Bungalow by Becky Bourdeau Designs Inc. is an example of creative landscaping that works with an environment rather than trying to impose itself on that environment. The landmark works included a complex design that incorporated green landscaping and artistic features to provide a natural outdoor sanctuary. At the beginning, we were working with a sloped section of land. This ended up presenting us with a challenge that we were able to utilize to our advantage by creating terracing and layered planting beds. Implementing top quality local stone for the retention walls, we built a very functional yet natural looking structure providing both function and form. Drought-tolerant native plants that complement the bungalow aesthetic are a sustainable choice for this colorful urban environment. A reclaimed brick path snakes around the garden to invite exploration and contemplation amidst the blooms and herbs. Bohemian-inspired seating arrangements with colorful pillows and handmade are the perfect way to create a cozy, informal gathering place, characteristic of boho living. For durability and environmental harmony, Becky Bourdeau Designs Inc. included a range of carefully chosen materials, including reclaimed wood, natural boulders, and environmentally friendly finishes. Even irrigation systems, which save water but keep your landscape green (and ever so beautiful) were all thought out. The final result? A beautiful outdoor space that impressed the owner and gels beautifully with the architectural beauty of bungalow.
