Cozy Irvington Back Yard This s titled Cozy Irvington Back Yard is a product of Becky Bourdeau Designs Inc. in Los Angeles. This backyard oasis embodies our passion for quality and creativity, and is a great escape for the homeowners. As the evolved, the first step was to evaluate the space, which came with a few challenges, such as uneven ground and the lack of natural light. Their team also smartly leveled the soil as it corresponds to the entire yard area. This area shines with native plants, including California poppies and lavender that are both beautiful and climate-friendly. We used good materials (though no, not reclaimed timber for the raised garden beds and certainly not natural stone for a rustic, meandering path through the shrubbery to learn better too!) to add texture and warmth. Furniture, built to withstand year-round weather, is nestled among shrubs and bursts of color the ideal place for family gatherings or peaceful moments of respite. Better yet, we incorporated an ambient lighting system to illuminate key landscape features that also enhance safety but more importantly, creates a magical experience in the evening. To tackle the challenge of space, our team made every inch count by incorporating vertical gardens and climbing vines, which literally raise the dynamism of the courtyard. The end product is a stunning backyard that complements their style, with the perfect marriage of comfort and nature. Cozy Irvington Back Yard is just one shining example of the creativity that Becky Bourdeau Designs Inc. brings to back yards across the Altadena, Beverly Hills, Burbank, and beyond.
