Star Landscape & Exterior Designs, Inc. is proud to present 'Contemporary Landscape Design,' a gorgeous makeover that illustrates a modern mix of sophistication and functionality. Our team does work in some Southeast cities, including Bellflower, Buena Park, Carson and Cerritos - and, they presented us with the challenge of transforming their outdoor living space into a secluded retreat. This design featured a modern combination of clean lines and organic elements with high-quality materials such as natural stone pathways and patios, composite decking and low-maintenance native plants, and irrigation that promotes plant sustainability. Another hurdle we had to overcome was dealing with the challenging property topography. We leveled the landscape and terraced it in an attractive way, creating three levels of interest, while still being practical for use. This terracing made for a better-draining garden and resolved some potential erosion issues. The final product looks fantastic, including a spacious outdoor lounge area, modern fire pit, and lighting in a way that showcases the plants at night. At the end of the day, this client said the new design matched their lifestyle perfectly and added curb appeal.
