The Living Rooms project, aptly named "Gray Wolf," showcases a transformative design journey tailored for clients relocating from Southern California. With a blank canvas to work with, the homeowners sought to create a fresh, inviting environment that reflects their preferences and lifestyle. The lady of the house envisioned a romantic atmosphere that balances charm with functionality, steering clear of excessive adornment. The design process commenced with a careful selection of styles, drawing inspiration from various design magazines that the client had curated. This collaborative approach led to the development of a unique aesthetic that blends modern elegance with an eclectic touch. Custom upholstered furniture became the focal point of the room, crafted by the skilled artisans at Brumley Upholstery in Medford. Sofas wrapped in luxurious Kasmir Fabrics, complemented by Club chairs upholstered in Fabricut materials, set a tone of sophistication while maintaining comfort. In addition to the furniture, small Wing Chairs, featuring exquisite Stroheim & Roman fabrics, were strategically placed to enhance the room's overall appeal. The choice of materials reflects a commitment to quality and design integrity, ensuring that each piece serves as both a functional element and a work of art. The inclusion of Hekman Repertory Tables, thoughtfully positioned under the windows, adds a touch of refinement while allowing for ample natural light to illuminate the space. A striking fireplace mural by Janet Gogue serves as a captivating centerpiece, drawing the eye and inviting conversation, while the warm, welcoming ambiance is enhanced by carefully selected lighting and decor elements. The completed Living Rooms project embodies a harmonious blend of style and comfort, perfectly capturing the essence of the clients' vision. This space not only serves as a gathering place for family and friends but also stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful design and craftsmanship in creating a home that truly resonates with its inhabitants.
