Custom Hot-tub & Deck Porch & Deck in Marigny, New Orleans, LA by Garden Environments, Inc. Located in the heart of Marigny, New Orleans, Garden Environments, Inc. introduced a lovely new custom hot-tub and deck that exudes elegance and relaxation. We were asked to design a small backyard to be beautiful with spirit, function with magic, in line with the land. This limited edition included an intricately detailed cedar deck made from sustainably harvested material that looks good while standing the test of time in the elements. The warm, natural tones of the wood blend so well with the verdant outdoors, making the home a peaceful haven from the urban aura. The biggest challenge we had was the limited space. Our experienced designers cleverly maximized the space by utilizing multi-level decking which created separate areas for lounging and soaking. We designed the hot-tub into a corner of the garden so that it still got a view of the garden, but it was also private and away from house, the feature also boasted new (and expensive) technology, including an energy-efficient heater and LED lights for some romantic evening time. Inspired to balance both biodiversity and upkeep, our team researched low-maintenance native plants to enhance and promote surrounding landscape. The end product is a balance of high and low, sun and shade, a vibrant explosion of blooms and contrasting foliage textures opening onto the deck. The overjoyed client was thrilled with their new outdoor sanctuary that they could utilize for hosting family and friends or quietly relaxing in solitude when the outdoor experience was complete. Through a unique combination of architectural artistry and functional yard design, this is a true reflection of Garden Environments, Inc.'s dedication to the highest standards of work in the local communities of Elmwood, Harahan, Jefferson, Kenner, Metairie, Metairie Terrace, New Orleans, River Ridge, and Saint Rose.
