Naperville Private Residence Front Walkway Done by CB Conlin Landscapes Inc. Right in the heart of Naperville, this beautiful front walkway is an example of beauty and practicality and makes a significant contribution to the curb appeal of the private residence. CB Conlin Landscapes Inc. was given the job of finding ways to make a drab entryway into an inviting path that works in harmony with the home style. Bluestone pavers were installed, known for their natural beauty and durability. The natural colors of the stone play off the landscape perfectly by setting a tone of sophistication and warmth. A well thought out layout was established with a gentle corner that drew visitors to the front door and made navigation straightforward. The biggest challenge for the was the existing uneven surface and drainage difficulties that came with the previous walkway. Our team worked to overcome these challenges by establishing a solid base with a slight slope to enable water runoff and minimizing future erosion. In addition, lighting was subtly integrated with the landscape lighting to provide safer navigation and presence at night and accentuate the beauty of the newly designed walkway. To finish the walkway at the driveway's edge, we installed perennial flowers to add some color as well as invite pollinators into the garden. The end result is an absolutely stunning, low-maintenance front walkway that checkmarks the client's lists of wants and needs in their home.
