Hardscapes, Stairs & Siding (Fort Collins, CO) The Rock Garden is excited to share the of a recent in Fort Collins, Colorado, where we took a client's outdoor space and transformed it into a beautiful landscape that is functional as well as visually stunning. The overall scope was the enhancement of the property through the installation of detailed hardscapes, stairways, and siding. We went with high-quality materials in natural stone, composite decking, and weather-resistant siding. This was utilized to build a series of terraced and tiered areas that take guests from the driveway to a backyard retreat. Each stairway was intentionally designed to use non-slip materials, making them safe, while still providing an aesthetically pleasing transition between space. The design also incorporated the creative use of specialty lighting, showcasing the natural beauty of the stone materials in the evening. Through this we encountered several challenges, including the elevation of the site and the need to blend the different elements with the established landscape and existing architecture. Our capable and talented teams were able to overcome challenges with thoughtful planning and superior craftsmanship. Each stone was placed on purpose and each aesthetic detail was attended to. The end result is a breathtaking outdoor space that works to enhance the curb appeal of the home, while providing a gathering place for the client’s family and friends. The client was pleased with both the outcome and the process, showcasing our attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship.
