About This Project

'Kim' by Rescom Landscaping, Inc. In the stunning seaside community of Newport Beach, Rescom Landscaping, Inc. recently completed the 'Kim' landscaping , which convincingly merges the functional with the beautiful. This included the master plan of the new backyard areaan outdoor space the client envisions where she can relax and entertain family and friends. In the final plan, we selected a combination of native drought-tolerant plants consisting of colorful flowering shrubs and a variety of succulents. These choices add visual appeal and sustainability to the care of the landscape and the local environment. To go with the shade of the greenery, we included a custom stone path utilizing locally sourced flagstone. The path elegantly directs guests through the garden, inviting them to stop for each pocket of beauty. In one area of the property, the slope of the landscape presented us with issues to overcome. Our skilled team used the terracing technique to create a space with multiple levels while still enabling effective drainage and enhancing usable space in the backyard. The terracing improved the career while also providing depth and height to parts of the landscaping. We also incorporated a water featurea beautiful flowing fountain. The fountain creates a centerpiece in the backyard that adds ambiance and attracts some local wildlife as well. The beauty of water also showcases the bubbling sound of water making the garden come to life. Finally, we carefully placed ambient light in select areas to show off key features of the landscape to create a cozy outdoor space to enjoy well past sunset. All in all, the client could not be happier with the result; she now has a full-fledged escape to sip coffee, entertain, and unwind with family and friends.
