Pitzer - Rescom Landscaping, Inc. Located in Orange County, the Pitzer serves as an example of the art and craftmanship of Rescom Landscaping, Inc. The large landscape transformed a simple outdoor area into a stunning environmentally friendly space that is both functional and beautiful. The included beautiful features, designed to enhance the natural beauty of this property. The central focus of the landscaping was a custom stone elevated backyard patio built with local stone that integrates with the surrounding land. This outdoor living patio included seating areas as well as a custom fire pit, providing the perfect space for family and friends to gather. Drought resistant plants were planted around the patio with the considerations of their sustainability in our southern California climate. The plants were selected for their ability to thrive, vary in color and texture, and enhance the appearance throughout the entire year. One of the challenges in executing the Pitzer was the slope of the property. Rescom laid out innovative solutions for terraced garden beds to take advatage of the slop; enhancing the landscape as well as improving drainage. Reclaimed timber retaining walls were resilient and added a western theme to the , which was consistent with the overall design. In the end, low pitched landscape lights made the plants and architecture visible at night while adding a glow to the back yard experience. Drip irrigation was incorporated to water the beds, which fit with our mission as sustainable landscape contractors. We could not be happier with the final outcome of the . The clients were extremely happy with their new outdoor living retreat. The Pitzer is a perfect example of Rescom landscaping's commitment to quality and creativity, and we believe there are many more happy customers in Aliso Viejo, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and more.
