SOD INSTALLS // GOING GREEN LAWN CARE & LANDSCAPING Transforming a space into a green oasis is a pride we carry at Going Green Lawn Care & Landscaping, We completed an awesome d "Sod Installs" in Lexington, Lake Murray, Irmo, Ballentine which you can see better in the beautiful areas we served last month. This included high-end sod installation at multiple residences, all presenting their own challenges. For optimal grass growth, the first step was to assess the existing soil conditions and drainage patterns. Starting with the ground up, we painstakingly removed the old turf and debris, adding fine quality topsoil with key nutrients to boost the soil health of the site. We carefully chose a sod variety resistant to drought that does well in this climate ensuring that the finished product would maintain its lush green aesthetic year-round, giving us that well manicured professional look. With staggered seams and proper irrigation setup, our landscapers expertly laid the sod so that water run off was greatly reduced, which is important for healthy roots to establish themselves. One of the central problems we encountered were the a number of yards being quite uneven terrain. Our POSSE did a great job grading the land creating a level surface which was good for aesthetics and made for better draining, less puddling. And the end result was absolutely magnificent. The clients were over the moon with their new, lush green lawns, which both needed to tie the whole house together. While the lush green grass helped change the landscape, it also gave everyone, including dogs, a place to play and rest at the same time.
