In 2000, Chip Howard founded Going Green Lawn Care and Landscaping. Chip purchased landscaping equipment, hired men to mow and trim for his horse farm — and then made his men full-time employees, doing all his full-service landscaping work. When he starts a project, he visualizes it from beginning to end. Chip really loves it when that spark of creativity starts to happen —when he can transform a landscape project into something more creative and beautiful. Going Green Lawn Care teams consist of 3 landscape teams who have worked alongside Chip for 8 years or longer, making Going Green a tightly-knit group of men, who are most dedicated in providing the nicest lawn in the neighborhood. An exquisitely designed yard may make all the difference on the earth concerning enjoying the outdoors and what nature together with it. In case you want to add some trees to an existing landscape, removing the existing plant materials or simply if you want to work on a clean slate, you can count on us. Lexington, Columbia, Irmo and surrounding areas is a great area we can grow a great number of plant materials for our climate. Whatever you like, if it's tropicals, natives, perennials or even a butterfly or hummingbird garden there is a plethora of plants to choose from. Low maintenance — check; we can do that too! The new patio looks fantastic with the hardscaping work done, adding great value to our outdoor space. Lawn maintenance was good, but a bit pricey.
