Debbie's Company: Premier Outdoors Landscape & Design Located in Winter Park, Debbie's is a perfect blend of nature and design that we were so excited to present as the arts and crafts of Premier Outdoors Landscape & Design! The transformation including the rich flora and functional hardscaping was developed to be visually attractive and functional. While the started with a landscape renovation, the client requested a beautiful outdoor area as both a personal retreat and a place for entertaining guest. To achieve this, we intentionally curated a mix of native plants with colorful hibiscus, fragrant gardenias, luscious ferns, and other horticulture that would contribute to the year-round vibrancy and local biodiversity. Another sheer challenge we had but overcame was that the site had a lot of uneven grades, so we applied creative grade solutions down to the nitty-gritty planning for the foundation of the new features. Within the assessed site conditions, we used natural stone retaining wall that provided the foundational structures we were installing as well as create a rustic aesthetic within the environment. The rocks for the walls were locally sourced to reflect the unique natural characteristics of the area and enhance durability against the Florida weather. Furthermore, in addition to plant selection and grading, we designed a patio area with quality pavers that coordinated with the landscape so the space would be chic enough for gatherings and then cozy enough for evenings under the stars. Outdoor LED lighting was installed in targeted areas that highlighted features that reflected Premiere Outdoors approach - safety, enjoyment, and ability to accentuate the must-see landscaping features. Overall, the result was past the client's vision of what the would accomplish transpiring a beautiful reality. With the detailed design elements within the cohesiveness of the plan, the space was extremely designed to foster gathering or more importantly calmness and restoration for the client in their own private oasis. Debbie was thrilled with her finished outdoor area stating with joy, it was her favorite place to now rest and to seek sanctuary.
