Mediterranean Pool by Sierra Outdoor Living, L.L.C. Set amid the remarkable landscape of Dripping Springs, the 'Mediterranean Pool' by Sierra Outdoor Living, L.L.C. is a beautiful combination of style and function. The consists of an elegant pool with hardscaping that would fit into any location along the Mediterranean coast. The utilizes several superior quality materials including natural stone pavers and texture concrete, which effectively blend into the surrounding environment. Preselected thick Mediterranean plantings of fragrant lavender, bright bougainvillea, and ornamental olive trees create a complementary color palette to further enhance the tranquil feel. One of the challenges during construction was the natural slope of the site. The hill slope required interior and structural engineering for proper drainage, as well as being a purposeful attractive landscape feature. Our team effectively terraced the landscaping to create several levels of interest, while also using historic rubble walls to finish the back sides of the retaining walls. The end result is a stunning oasis that fulfills the vision of the client and creates an elevated outdoor experience. The 'Mediterranean Pool' is a nice space for lounging and entertainment that offers sun deck seating, shaded areas, and ambient lighting for turning the outdoor experience into another enchanting nighttime escape!
